To those who have seen it - what's the score like?

This is what I want to know too, but hardly anyone's mentioning it. There is some discussion in one of the AICN talkback sections. Consensus seems to be that it's good, but not iconic like previous Trek scores from Goldsmith and Horner. I'm disappointed to hear that, but everyone's taste is different, and I'm still hoping to like it.
Also, it seems the end credits music features the original series theme, can't wait to hear it!

I'm curious about it too. I'm sure there's so much to take in, it must be difficult to really focus on the score.
That's certainly true. I saw the 20 minutes back in November, and as much I went into that screening wanting to listen intently to the score, I completely forgot about it after about 5 seconds
