I just wanted to say, I was at hastings about a week ago & I came across a manga titled ''Battle Club'' it had a PARENTAL ADVISORY warning saying not intended for anyone under 18, BUT most of the Naughty bits were pixallated! I couldn't help but laugh! I have to ask is this commen in japan?

I haven't watched much anime in my time, but I believe it is common not just in anime but in live action pornography as well.

A lot of the time having a 2x1mm translucent bar seems to count as censorship in manga, so it's not all bad.

Its just the publishers taking advantage of a loophole in the law.
