"To boldly go..." and traditional opening sequence

So The Undiscovered Country era is false, but the Anthology aspect is just in-accurate.

I wouldn't read too much into the difference in word choice, since he was speaking off the cuff. And people tend to confuse "accurate" and "precise," but they're two different concepts. Accuracy means having the right answer, while precision means having very little margin of error. Saying that pi is 3 plus or minus 1 is accurate (because the right answer is in there somewhere), but very imprecise. Saying that pi is 4 plus or minus .000000000000001 is extremely precise, but entirely inaccurate (because the right answer is not in that range at all). So "not precise" could mean "close but not quite," but "not accurate" simply means "wrong."
