Spying is okay when the Federation does it, but if it was aliens who had infiltrated the Federation... well, set "Picard Speech" to scathe.

After this episode, I had the feeling that let them just find their way into space, then contact them...

Also, it kind of bothered me that Riker was set free only after he got nasty with the alien nurse.

Not that it got him very far... he ended up getter by immediately pummeled and right back in bed.
