TNG kept Patrick Stewart from taking on the role of ...

Patrick Stewart always in whatever he does, sounds like Patrick Stewart.

I agree. Anyone that has played the game Elder Scrolls: Oblivion would have noticed the King at the start being Mr Stewart. Dont get me wrong he sounds fabulous but I kept wanting him to say "Engage" :-S

I remember he was Gurney Helick in the Original "DUNE"..And he sou ded just like......YEP!! PAtrick Stewart...

And he looked nothing like Gurney Halleck from the novel.

However, he's the best Gurney Halleck ever. :)

Allow me to add to the chorus: Patrick Stewart generally sounds the same no matter what the role. Can't 'see' him as Jafar.

And BTW, Jafar is his biggest regret? Jafar? REALLY?

Yeah, I agree with you. Whenever Stewart play a role in the movie, the only thing that I want to hear from him is : "Make it So", "Engage", and "Number One"

His voice has blend perfectly with his character

Patrick Stewart does not have the voice range to do that role.

Don't believe it. On stage, and on the Simon & Schuster Audioworks production, he plays every role in Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol".

He did turn down the role of Mr. Freeze in Batman and Robin...

Wasn't that the other way around? Stewart was in the running but they opted for Schwarzenegger instead?

Yeah. They willingly picked Arnold Schwarzenegger over Patrick Stewart. Anyone want to know what was going on in the minds of the people who made this movie? Because I'm not one of those hypothetical people...
