More or less. It's slightly wider (and cropped) compared to the Bluray version. Maybe about 1cm difference each side on my 32" screen.

I caught a bit of it too, and if anything i'd say the contrast was off. The darks looked pitch black. There was no detail at all in Picard's face in the opening shot, and no detail in the dark areas of the ship in the saucer section scene.
Apart from that, the ratio was 4:3. I imagine they're simply using the blu rays to play them.

That's exactly it -- production order. The Blu-rays are in airdate order. This means new viewers might see Tasha die, then come back to life in the next episode with no explanation!![]()
