i am looking for sourcebooks covering the 24th century. What would be a good start for this?

This, and this. There will be some TOS stuff mixed in, of course, but what you're looking for should be there. More or less, anyway - neither Last Unicorn or Decipher seemed to succeed in making an RPG that made fans or players all that happy. If I were going to run a Trek RPG, I'd probably steal lots of fluff from those books, but use something like Feng Shui to run the crunch.
