TMP or Abram's Enterprise, which design is better?

I really didn't mind the look of the E-E.
"Didn't mind" as in it sucked but ya didn't care, or only sucked a little bit?:guffaw:
Neither. I thought it was beautiful from many angles, distances, and under all lighting. In short, I liked it. :p

Enterprise-E was okay, but it looks like something a 12 year old would design thinking it looked 'cool'

I disagree. It actually reminds me more of the refit Enterprise than any other ship, and the refit was a damn functional and elegant looking lady.

It's just those nacelles - they're way too big and bulbous.
It's not just the nacelles being too big, they look that way because the secondary hull is too small. If they increased the size of the secondary hull a little bit and made the nacelles a little bit smaller then I would find it more understandable how people can compare this to the refit, as is there is just no comparison for me.

The E-E is a nice (not great) ship but below and from the bow is a terrible angle for it. it's much better above and from the bow, or from the sides.

In regards to the original question, here's how I rank them:

1. TWOK/TSFS Refit and E-A
2. XI-prise
3. TMP refit

In short, I just hate that brown deflector. I know this sounds stupid but I really think it ruins the whole thing for me. The XI-prise is very close to the II-VI refit, I just like the bulbous engineering hull of the refit more than the tubular engineering hull of the XI-prise and TOS E.

TMP refit, I know in my head it's nearly the same ship as the TWOK refit but I see that brown deflector and I'm just done. I don't know why, other than I'm crazy.

Yer not crazy- the blue is WAAAY better. The brown (Or, golden-brown, as I like to call it) ain't enough to freak me, but the successive dishes were much nicer. BUT STILL TOO RECESSED!

Uuum, the deflector WAS blue in TMP. It just didn't start that way when it fired up because it glows blue due to heat, not magic.

Yeah, in most of it, I reckon. Forgive me, it's been DAYS since I've seen it.
The image that pops into my head is always with the Earth behind her, and the sun coming up, and in that shot it was golden brown if memory (recent memory) serves.

And the deflector was also brown for some shots in TWOK because they reused stock footage during the spacedock scene.
