TMP Appreciation

How many times out of 79 episodes does the Enterprise fight with anyone?
Certainly, but this was still the post-Star Wars period where people had decided that that’s what should happen in space movies. (Which is why the simultaneous-with-TMP The Black Hole has laser gunfights despite absolutely zero story need for them.)

How many times out of 79 episodes does the Enterprise fight with anyone?
Using the loosest definition possible, I think it's just these seventeen:

"The Corbomite Maneuver"
"Balance of Terror"
"Arena"
"Errand of Mercy"
"Who Mourns for Adonais?"
"The Apple"
"The Deadly Years"
"The Doomsday Machine"
"The Changeling"
"Journey to Babel"
"Obsession"
"The Immunity Syndrome"
"Patterns of Force"
"The Ultimate Computer"
"Elaan of Troyius"
"The Tholian Web"
"The Lights of Zetar"

This is why I'm thankful for the recent Steelbook release. All three 4K cuts in one package. The bonus disc can remain in the weird packaging.

Where did you get that? I can't find any listings for a steelbook containing all 3 versions. TIA.

I believe he just placed the 4k discs from the 3-disc set into the steelbook.
That is indeed correct. This Steelbook was just for the 4K/Blu-ray release of the original theatrical cut, hence why it comes with an insert advertising the 4K Director's Edition. I just grabbed it and swapped out both discs with the 'Complete Adventure' 4K discs that contained the Director's Edition, Theatrical Version and Special Longer Version. If I could swap out the interior 2-Disc holder with a 3-Disc holder, everything would be perfect. Alas, I don't want to damage her. >.<
