Title Sequence Updated for Season 2

I was hoping that this "preview" would have included credits so that we would go into Season 2 knowing exactly who the Series Regulars are beyond the 5 we already knew were returning, but, that disappointment aside, I like the updated visuals and think it's neat that they're establishing a pattern of switching things up ever so slightly from season to season.

Well the credits change with every episode which is why they gave us the clean version.

Hmm. As I recall, FJS's SFTM says the buttons are programmable in function, with the function labels dynamically generated by the ship's computer.

Not canon.

Well it wasn't labeled Eject Pod before that episode, so it must be programmable in canon.

Presumably FJS's in-universe way of dealing with the realities of "the buttons do what the scriptwriter and director say they do, and the labels say what the set decorator says they say."

Makes me wish there were clean versions of the credits for DS9, VOY and ENT. I like when special features of film/tv does that. The James Bond series DVD collection once offered clean credit-free versions of their title sequences.
