At least Trigon looked better than his season one appearance
Was it the same writers as CW's Naomi?Yes. All that build up and it was just a guy.
Yeah, the hubby and I were literally like, "Did they blow all their CGI budget for Gar on his trippy ep? He should turn into a gorilla."Gar is tasked with pulling out the heavy cables, but he doesn't shapeshift into a gorilla or something?

I was pleased everyone got happy endings since this was the end of the show. That was nice. But it was easy to tell there was meant to be more in another season.
I meant that it seemed there was supposed to be a lead in to another season after Starfire comes back with orange light instead of blue. I felt like the dinner and happy endings were shot later, after they thought they might get canceled. There was? It seemed pretty conclusive to me. The characters' journeys seemed designed to take them in different directions from each other.

Yeah, you're probably right. She started out with orange fire. The blue fire came along when her powers leveled up in season 3. I took it to mean that the fulfillment of the prophecy had used up the blue energy and she'd gone back to her baseline power level.
Wow. That's ... quite the statement. I haven't seen this season yet (waiting on the Blu), but wasn't Welliver in only one episode? That's some accomplishment if he managed to eclipse the likes of Rosenbaum and Cryer for you, especially with such a limited appearance. However, I think Wellover nailed the Luthor part. Five minutes with him and all the others paled
Could be some recency bias (I’m REALLY not sold on “biker gang leader” Luthor) combined with showing serious potential for the part (he’d have been ideal on Superman and Lois). It’s not that I don’t like the others. Rosenbaum was very good as a young Luthor. Cryer fit the Arrowverse very well. And Hackman is one of my all time favourite actors, so I have a soft spot for him.Wow. That's ... quite the statement.
