My turn to be old!
Before LEGO was invented, I played with these, oddly enough I never had an Erector set:
Had these handed down by my older brothers.
Got these for either my 5th or 6th birthday (circa 1976) and loved them.
Many hours of my adolescence were spent with METAL Tonka toys in a sandbox. The bull dozer was the best!
I'm quite certain I'm more than twice your age plus change and these were even before my time (not by too much mind you)!

Actually, the world had far more color when I was a kid; it's become quite dull lately.Wow, some of these photographs of y'all as children... what was it like to live back then when the world wasn't as bright and had less colors?
It's a Cobra Rattler from the GIJoe tv series.A blue A-10? Well, it's close. The engines are different though. But it's still cool. Green, then later Grey A-10s used to rule the skies above my childhood hometown.
The proper answer would be to ask if he dated her 5 sisters as well, last name Palmer.
