Three different endings?

In case you missed the commercial (or skipped over it), The Morning Show (or whatever the ABC equivalent is) will be showing three different endings to "There's No Place Like Home, Part 3."

I'm betting the endings will show different people in the coffin, but I could be wrong.

I suspect it's the exact same only with someone different in the coffin in that very last shot.

Just checked my recording and they revealed the two alternate endings about 20 minutes ago. And as suspected, the difference endings involved with who was in the coffin: 1) Locke, 2) Sawyer, and 3) Desmond. Damn, all three of those endings suck.

I have to say I found the hosts to be really obnoxious with their melodramatic overacting of the suspense. Do really think we act like that?

Sawyer being in the coffin doesn't make sense though considering Kate's reaction. If Desmond was the one in the coffin the question would be where is Penny? If she is still alive then I am sure she would arrange a proper funeral. I think it's best that Locke was the one in the coffin.

Yeah, they didn't dare film an ending that would have been far cooler than the one they actually used.

But neither Sawyer nor Des would have made any sense...

But really I was thinking it would be Michael - nice fakeout, after making us believe he's dead (and I do think he's definitely dead dead dead).

Which there was, as it turns out, since Henry Ian Cusack (Desmond) was the only actor reported to be spotted at the funeral home, and Josh Holloway was reported in LA filming a secret scene for Lost. Seems they managed to hide Terry O'Quinn pretty well, though.

During the big Dallas "who shot JR" storyline, didn't they film every character -- including JR -- shooting JR?

Just to mess with people's heads, and to take advantage of the Abrams connection, they should've had Leonard Nimoy dressed as Spock in the coffin as one take.
