You might find these news vids and commentary of interest, in the blogs and chat rooms you see this 'game' of group collective rape or collective sexual harassment in crowds. It was normally confined to the streets of the middle east but now this cultural 'sport' of Taharrush Gamea, this Taharrush, the rape game, has been "played" all over Europe in recent months. It almost cost CBS correspondent Laura Logan her life in Tahrir Square on the night of the Muslim Brotherhood's victory
Norway has closed its border with Sweden because it thinks the Regressive Left Swedes are too far gone.
Do not, do not, DO NOT, trust anything you read in these kind of blogs and chat rooms. Those are used to spread rumors as fact, even some hoaxes going on. There's so much bullshit making the rounds on these things, even those videos are anything but evidence. I watched the first two. I don't know what I saw there, but I know what I didn't see; a date when the video was shot, or anything that would bring what is happening into any kind of context. The second I can't even judge, since I don't understand the language that's spoken there. Anyway, we also don't see anything dating the video or what is
actually happening.
Last week there was a very good report on the radio on hoaxes on the internet seeking to spread hatred. Part of it was an interview with the head of an institute looking into these kind of reports and tracking them down to their source. He gave one example, of a video making the rounds on social media supposed to show a group of refugees raping a 75-year old woman in Germany some time after New Year's Eve. They tracked that video back to a South-African newssite, and the video actually showed a group of men
robbing that woman in South Africa a few years ago. A totally different situation, this video had nothing to do with the situation with refugees here in Europe.
The story coming from Russian media about a 13 year old girl in Berlin being kidnapped and raped by a group of refugees is also totally untrue, and German prosecutors are actually going after the journalist who filed that report.
To be fair, hoaxes can happen at the other political spectrum, as well. Just today it came to light that the reports of a sick refugee dying while waiting in line to be registered in a Berlin refugee camp was completely made up. The story had been spread across several media in the past few days. The difference is, here the people acknowledge it was a hoax, and the person who made the story up and spread it is prosecuted.
