Thoughts on The Deadly Years

I think it's on Virgin 1 too (our valiant effort to fight against Rupert Murdoch's Aussie Sky Empire). But is it worth watching??? (The only US programmes I watch are Star Trek and the Simpsons).

Boston Legal is available in the UK. I caught an episode once, the one where Shatner says 'I once commanded my own spaceship!' It's on Living, IIRC.

I believe he likes to break the fourth wall... he may be nearly 77, but I LOVE the Shat.

Both Living and Virgin are part of Virgin Media, as far as I'm aware.

Is Boston Legal worth watching? Eh, the episode I saw was okay. Shatner seems ideally cast - the character of Denny Crane panders to his rare gift of seeming simultaneously both arrogant and endearing. That's judging from that one episode, anyway.

Worth watching? *shrug*, it's a big hit here. Shatner's up for another Emmy for his role as Denny Crane.
