thoughts on the caption

we have now gone through all the episodes.
so i am considering either to keep on doing the episodes or perhaps doing themes like one of the subsections of the avatar contest.

or maybe one week episodes and the next themes..

thoughts..

do people care enough for the captions to continue.,

Are you kidding? I can't write good ones, but I love the captions contests!

How about doing two episode captions (as Indigo Montoya said, "Go back to the beginning!") and two theme images? And to expand participation for people who can't do captions >>koff koff<< maybe you could select a weekly guest capper to submit the themes. ETA: Or, now that I re-think about it, either the episode or the theme entries, based on which one you'd prefer to do. It's your contest! ).

Another vote for continuing captions. I'm utterly worthless at most things, including avatars, but I'd like to think I can come up with a witty phrase to stick beneath a picture once in a blue moon.

Go for themes - 'Klingons!' - 'Vaughn Armstrong!' - 'Engineering!' or whatever takes your fancy.

I also like what Judas Ascendant does on the DS9 forum, too - sometimes he includes a random screencap from a different sci-fi TV show like Farscape or Andromeda in the DS9 lineup.

I hope you continue them ... I can hardly believe that you've been through them all already. It hardly seems possible.

As for where to draw them from, yes, themes is certainly a way to go. Maybe anniversaries of episode debuts if you can find events like that should no theme be obvious. Just please keep them coming; I love trying to caption.

i am going to start working on one for impulse which to mean is close to a halloween episode and feature spooky moments from other episodes.
after that will be a forrest tribute.
