Thoughts on Season 6

My personal feeling is that seasons 5 and 6 are the closest to a well written show Voyager ever became. There are obviously some horrible episodes in that stretch (Fury, anything Fair Haven) but there's also some of the most inventive concepts the series ever saw. Tinker Tenor Doctor Spy, Memorial, Blink of an Eye, Child's Play, etc.

It's been a while since I've seen all of Season 6 but I remember my three favorite episodes being Blink of an Eye, Pathfinder, and Memorial. Barcley and Troi worked a lot better on Voyager than they did on TNG (And I liked Barcley on TNG) and it was great to finally get some communication between Voyager and Earth. Memorial is an interesting concept, and so was Blink of an Eye. In the end it wasn't a bad season, even though there are a number of subpar episodes.
