As they say in the Rifftrax for this movie after Jane hits Thor with her van backing out of the parking lot in the hospital:

"Again?! Why don't they just but sunglasses on him and carry him like they did in Weekend at Bernies.?!"

This was the third time in the movie Thor was knocked out. (First by Jane during the Bifrost depositing him on Earth, second when the doctors in the hospital inject him with a calming agent when he rampages in his hotel room, and the when Jane hits him with her car... again.)

I was confused about whether Thor was suppose to be as durable as a human when he got dumped on Earth. If that was true, he would have likely got many broken bones and even ended up dead after getting hit by the car the first time.

Why should I actively patrol the internet for porn when there are plenty of boobs around here for me to enjoy? Look I had a good time watching Thor. Would I have written Darcy like that? I probably would have kept the wisecracks but made her more integral to the story. Did she grate? She didn't grate on me. Did she ruin the movie? Not for me. She was a minor character. I was pretty taken with Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman along with the other Marvel mainstays. It was a fun entertaining movie. I wasn't looking for anything more than being entertained for a couple hours. Thor gave me that. So please excuse the everlovin' shit out of me for not nitpicking the shit out of a fun movie.

That's just a bit harsh.

Sure I likened her to Jar-Jar in a post above but only in a sense of relating her to other "comic-relief" characters in other works. But she's no where near as bad as Jar-Jar.

Kat Dennings is certainly an attractive woman but, sheesh, man.

Neither is Jar Jar ( whose mannerisms were created by the black actor playing the part and were not dictated by Lucas ). Those who insist on seeing Jar Jar as a racial stereotype may need to revisit their own, uh, interesting views of other races.

I'm sure Ahmed just went along with the "racism" in the name of the almighty dollar. I mean, it's not like we ever saw a black guy do an annoying high-pitched voice before.

The fact remains that the character does not display characteristics of the race it is alleged to be a stereotype of. The Star Wars Tea Party is just like any other Tea Party, and equally full of shit.
