This should make you all feel old

Squiggy

FrozenToad
Admiral
And me too. It serves as good evidence as to why a new TNG movie isn't going to happen. Twitpic'd from Levar Burton

I don't see it. They look in pretty good shape there.

Riker would be an Admiral be now, Geordi Captain. And Data is dead anyway.
Actually, NOW would be the time to reshoot all the future scenes from All Good Things, and insert those into the remastered version. Data's stuff would be the original footage, and merged with the new footage.

Man, that would be awesome if they could actually re-do all the "future" All Good Things... footage with the actors as they appear today. And I imagine the actors would pretty much be up for it. But, alas, the costs would be prohibitive, I'm sure.

Burton seems to have aged quite well since TNG. Spiner looks like he's in a bad mood, however.

Come on, for their age, they're not doing all that bad Squigs! But yeah, no more feature film running around in pyjamas for them!

Spiner looks like he just randomnly squeezed into shot at the last moment. :D

You, sir, are a genius. I fear you are right on the costs however. :(

Right.

"Old people" can't make movies.

Beloved characters can never die - and stay dead.

Gotta have the young hotties to appeal to the hormonal adolescent male demographic... like what's-her-name-Victoria's Secret model in Transformers who first appeared on screen with a shot of her barely covered crotch.

Yup, no TNG movie with these dinosaurs.

I'm pretty sure any chance of a new TNG movie was gone the second the reboot was greenlit.

Doesn't mean some TNGer won't pop up in a nuTrek flick, though.

Shouldn't happen in the next one though. We need the new guys to stand on their own in a good CHARACTER PIECE.

You hear that motherfuckers? A CHARACTER PIECE. Please don't give us Nemisis 3.0

Guys, TNG aired for the first time 23 years ago, it will be 24 in September. It's been a generation. Feel old, yet?

If you ask me, the TNG cast held up better than the TOS cast after 24 years. Compare Kirk, Spock, Scotty of 1966 Where No Man has gone Before to Kirk, Spock, Scotty of TUC. a little "just for Men" for Spiner and Frakes, and they don't look that bad at all.

What is this obsession with the time that has passed and the weight of the actors!!!??? These weird 'do you feel old yet' threads are a bore, and yes, i shouldn't even be wasting my time posting in one.
