I dont feel that it's Star Trek at all. It feels more like star trek 90120.
It doesnt feel Canon at all.

I am not going to see this movie. I hope it flops.

As I have not yet SEEN the ENTIRE MOVIE, I can't really agree or disagree with your supposition, Vanarcher.

I'm sure you will find Other's around here though, that might agree with you on several levels.

I do believe though that you are jumping-the-gun a bit as to the "90210" comparison.

Perhaps if you were a bit more open-minded till the movie actually hits the theaters, you might find that you like it on some small level?

Oh and CKY.... that kinda post just leads to hard feelings on both sides. Give the guy/gal a break, the Cadet below his name usually means that they are not up to par on the ways to express their feelings around here without getting stomped on. I'm sure you've read this kinda post on several occasions around here and are tired of this expressive point of view, but Tolerance is a much better teacher than Intolerance.

Of course on the other hand, the OP may just be to get people to react in just such a manner, but one also shouldn't jump-the-gun till one knows for sure.

This is almost verbatim what I write when I'm sarcastically imitating people who have written this film off based on the VERY limited information we have.

...and I always thought I was prone to hyperbole when I sarcastically wrote these sorts of things. I guess I wasn't.
