Think we'll ever see a T1000 in SCC?

The price of those sort of effects must have come down by now, and its not like the guy who played him dosnt do tv shows.

I don't watch the show at all, but it would be pretty awesome to see Robert Patrick reprise his T-1000 role.

That's a neat idea. Scheduling conflicts aside, I'd love to see Robet Patrick reprise his role.

Well the cop he killed to get that face in the first place might have been one of a pair of twins, the other twin would be the right age now.

The producers said early in production that there wouldn't be a T-1000 in the series, but I don't rule out an occassional guest appearance. I do, however, believe that it will be a flashback to the events of T2 rather than a new one.

Well, in order to do the Brainiac liquid morphing, Smallville had to cut writers from the budget. ;)

T-1000 didn't take the cop's appearance. It only copied his uniform. You can see that the real cop didn't look anything like Robert Patrick, and you can also see RP before he becomes the cop.

I wish the commercials for T2 didn't try to sell the movie on Arnie being the good guy and the other guy also being a terminator. That would've been an awesome reveal. :(

I showed T2 to someone that hadnt seen any media on the movie, or the movie either... the big reveal went over REALLY well...

I hope so, the T-1000 is sooo cool.

if not Id like to see someone with a similar shapeshifting power on Heroes, though they wouldnt have to turn into shiny liquid metal, maybe some other substance with an easier to animate color(I assume it must be difficult/costly to do the shine effect of the metal.)

We've already seen a liquid metal morphing guy on Smallville, sword-hand and all, so it certainly can be done on a TV budget. I wouldn't want to see Robert Patrick though. He looks too old and since the show has all new actors already, why not do the same with the T-1000?

I do remember nx mentioning that we might not see the T-1000 due to legal rights, but I'm still hoping to see one on the show. Things can change.

I'm curious as to what the legal rights problems are.

I think my only problem with the series is how easy it has become to take down a Terminator. They are like the Borg during the sixth season of Voyager.

Actually, it's surprisingly doable nowadays, and uses pretty much exactly the same technique that would normally be used to light any 3D object being added into a real scene to allow it to reflect its surroundings.

I'm actually happy with the seemingly more defeatable terminators because it brings it back a little closer to a sense of reality.
