Things you never leave home without.

My watch. I'd definitely feel naked without it.
Somebody tried to judge me today for wearing a watch. "God, how old are you? I can't believe you're wearing a watch. I haven't seen anyone with a watch on in years!"

:wtf:

No toothbrush?

I'm a minimalist. Unless I expect to be out for a while, I generally just carry the basics.

If you're one of the lucky ones who can wear a watch without your wrist getting all rash-y, more power to ya.

Well, I don't wear watches bought off QVC at 2am. So, no, I don't get a rash from it.

:wtf:

I just couldn't wrap my head around it.

Since when did watches become weird?!

I don't know. I suppose more people just look at their phones to see what time it is, but I still wear a watch. My wrist just feels 'wrong' without one.

Yeah, I couldnt leave the house without my watch. How would I know where to be if my phone battery died (which it does with annoying regularity)? I have an engraved pen that was a gift and an engraved Zippo (also a gift) that I always carry with me, but other than that it's just the basics.

I didn't even think about my watch . . . I literally never take it off, so naturally I never go anywhere without it
I really do feel naked without it

A sonic screwdriver and a towel.

I actually try to carry a towel in my backpack or satchel (thank you Douglas Adams) cause they really do come in handy.

Nothing says "I'm tired of hearing you talk" like checking a watch-- bonus points for carrying a pocket watch-- which I do sometimes. For some reason, flipping a cellphone open or checking it, doesn't convey the same "I'm annoyed and want you to shut up and go away now" meaning; people continue to jabber on, where as with a watch they get the message.

Just the generic stuff, really - wallet, keys, cell phone. And since it's an iPhone, it's also my iPod, substitute for pen and paper, watch/clock, GPS and almost whatever I need it to be. Quite handy.

My stethoscope. :D

I keep mine in the car. I actually had to use it for the first time in about 5 years a couple of weeks back.

I'm going to refine this a bit and leave out things like wallets, cellphones, keys, and clothing since they are pretty much a given.

I hate carrying stuff around, so keep it really minimal - wallet, keys, PDA phone. If I'm going to work, add in access swipe card & other keys.

One thing I DO always carry in addition is a folded, clean white cotton handkerchief.

Add me in the always wear a watch camp.

Agreed on both points.

Depends where I'm going, what I'll be doing, how long I'll be out for, and which time of year it is. On any given day, apart from the obvious, I may have in my bag:
Oystercard
Umbrella
Diary and pen
Mineral water
Book - essential on public transport or in waiting rooms
Music mobile with headphones
lip gloss
small bottle of handcream
sunglasses case
spare sweater/hat/gloves/scarf - only in extreme cases

It is very rare that I will have all of those at once. Most women I know however, carry all that, and double! Astonishing.

My current writing or musical project. I also have a notepad for writing as well.

If I'm ever anywhere and have extra time, I can work on my current project.

The only time I ever take mine off is when I shower and when I sleep. Otherwise, it's on my wrist.

I only wear watches whilst out, it doesn't really matter what time it is when I'm home. Plus my wrists get irritated by any extra weight when I'm trying to relax. I usually take everything off when I get in.

Just the outer wear, and jeans if they're heavy - not much to see I'm afraid! I do know we have an abundance of other nekid posters though...
