You're putting words in Herbert's mouth.
I am not, sir. The Midnight's Edge guys concur too.
Garbage in, garbage out. The writers do not understand the Klingons as characters, and their canon roots. If it ain't broken dont fix it!
You're putting words in Herbert's mouth.
Posting for the lulz.
Well, that's your opinion dude.I....what? Even the reviews that are meh on the show (not that there's many) say that only through the sheer will of her acting is it saved.

It's not just my opinion, it's also the opinion of people who make a career of critiquing actors. They may know a thing or two.Well, that's your opinion dude.
But from what I saw she was as wooden as ever.
You really aren't helping your case here given just how badly critics tend to be at judging such things. It's not just my opinion, it's also the opinion of people who make a career of critiquing actors. They may know a thing or two.
Always a strong source for the facts.I am not, sir. The Midnight's Edge guys concur too.

So is this supposed to be a serious thread topic? Or are we just indulging said newbie's annoying penchant for posting stupid pictures with every post? 'Cause if it's the former, I'm not going to waste my time.
It's never been anything close to 'canon' that the Klingons were the Soviets. How could that ever be canonical? The part you're missing from your article is that they are talking about an analogy for political divide, not one side being trump supporters. Two sides diametrically opposed to each other, and how you make peace with that. I'm not sure there's much more of a Star Trek topic than that.Am I missing something? The writer says that they started penning the script around the time of the election and they let current events corrupt/contort their characterization of the Klingons. They had it in their heads that they should be made analagous to Trump supporters. Not only is that incredibly elitist and cosmopolitan to think that all Trump supporters are redneck idiots (I voted for Hillary too!), but it shows an utter lack of regard for established canon. A slap in the face to Gene!
Picard did it in Starship Mine.
