Things To Do On A Slow Day...

There's potentially actually a fascinating topic here.

I noticed today (in life) that there were an unusual number of people in a foul mood. More impatient drivers, grumbling co-workers, things like that. This has happened on other occasions, too, and I can't help but wonder if there's some kind of underlying, unifying cause?

Also days, like you mention, where a site like this will be 'dead'. Coincidence?

Oh, and it works in other ways, too. I remember one particular day (the details of which are not important) a year or so ago when everyone seemed to be in a really good mood. Friendlier people at work, polite people in stores...just a general "good vibe".

Indeed. The difference is palpable. :)

Oh, and Tay: who is your avatar now? I refuse to believe that is Taylor.

Slow day at the TrekBBS?

Leave the computer and go outside.

It was about 1:30 a.m. here. It was pitch black outside. We have bears here. So, the choice: chit-chat with my wonderful BBS friends in Tay's new thread...or get eaten by a bear in the black of night?

I stayed to chit-chat anyway.
