Things that makes us happy/happier

Really good Fanvids/music videos on YouTube.

Nightwish reaction videos on YT. When the YTer puts on 'Ghost Love Score' (Wacken 2013), says, "I've never heard of this band, let's see what they've got," and ten minutes sitting there with their jaws on the floor, having gone through a range of gestures (raised eyebrows, "Wow!", "Jesus!", devil horns and air punches, then a range of shock and awe gestures when the singer hits her final note). By watching their reactions, I get to relive the awe I felt when I first saw them.

I love watching geeky vids like super heroes set to I Need a Hero and vids of people watching stuff for the first time way too much.

I also like mashups. A guy on YouTube named Protokino made a great one splicing together dozens of scenes from different sci-fi movies to create a new story:

These things are good:

Bowl of steamed, fluffy white rice with a glass of ice cold mineral water

Seeing animals and children playing

Knowing my parents are at home safe and sound

Watching 90s sitcoms like Friends and The Simpsons

Motown and Northern Soul. I'm too young to have been on the scene but my mum listened to it when I was young so I keep the faith

Uplifting classical music like Mozart

Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate bar

A strong cup of Yorkshire Tea

and the sun shining on my face

My cat Junior, who is my constant source of love and companionship.

Playing Banished and not having a single villager character die from starvation or freezing.

A really good book or tv show that keeps me enthralled for hours.

Waiting for that moment alone, where I can put on my music and sing or dance around and no one can see me.

Long chats with my mom.

Going out to dinner with hubby on our weekly date night. Whether it's a fancy restaurant or just getting take-out, it's time we set aside every week.

Banished looks interesting I''ll have to check it out. You might also like Two Point Hospital on Steam which is a sim with a very funny sense of humour. One of the ailments patients have is called Mockstar and they walk around like Freddie Mercury. Some of the same people who were part of the original Theme Hospital game were involved and it shows.

Squeezing my daughter's fat thighs (they're still toddler-like - she's 5 years old). So squishy. I just love them with all of my heart and soul. We will be bff's, forever.

Hanging out online with my geek friends.

Watching an amazing talent at work, like my German drummer girl Sina.
