Things that frustrate us all

There's an intersection nearby with a short left turn light, which is really annoying since there are almost always cars waiting to turn left who will get stuck for another cycle. Not only is it short, but it's got a traffic sensor that can make it even shorter. If a bus is the front vehicle waiting to turn left, since the sensor can't see beyond the bus, it's already changing to yellow before the bus has even completed its turn.
At least they here, they have started adding early protected left turn lights, with a change from an arrow to a green circle so you can make a left after the cross traffic is through the intersection. It does allow a few more cars through before the next cycle.

Yeah, women with ADHD frequently had been misdiagnosed as being depressed

And people who have what used to be called Aspergers (now ASD) and were born before the 2000's were frequently misdiagnosed as these:

ADHD- Now ADHD is frequently comorbid to autism. About 20-50% of people who have ADHD also have ASD. And about 50-70% of people on the autism spectrum have ADHD.

PDD-NOS- Like Asperger's, this was removed in 2013 and replaced with the term "autism spectrum disorder."

Bipolar- This is also frequently comorbid to ADHD and ASD. A lot of women with ADHD were also misdiagnosed with Bipolar.

Borderline Personality Disorder- Also frequently comorbid to ASD and ADHD. A lot of women with ADHD were also misdiagnosed as Borderline.

Believe me, I got diagnosed with a crap ton of things years ago (and some of it I did not find out about until I was an adult) before I got my Asperger's (now ASD) dx as an adult in 2011:

ADD
Sensory Processing Disorder
Auditory Processing Disorder
Dyspraxia
OCD
NVLD (Nonverbal Learning Disorder)
Tinnitus
Depression
Anxiety
Executive Functioning Disorder

The only thing that doctors did back then for ADD/ADHD was keep adjusting and changing your medications to the point where none of the medications work anymore.

Edit: I forgot to mention that when the DSM-IV came out in 1994, it was ruled that autism and ADHD could not be comorbid to each other. However, this stance changed with the DSM-5 in 2013.

The length of time I was on hold trying to schedule a dental appointment, I could've walked to the dentist, scheduled it at the front desk and walked home.

Is that "Left Turn Yield on Green" sign really necessary? It assumes drivers are idiots. "Let me see, I think I'll turn left straight into oncoming traffic."

Removes all doubt from those drivers that are idiots.

Yes, it's necessary. Behind every traffic sign like that is at least two or three morons who broke that rule and caused horrible accidents.

People ARE idiots.
Toilet paper hoarding actually happened, which is still mind blowing for me.

You know what annoys me? People who toss stuff into the blue recycling bin that has no business being there. Food waste. Half-full beverage bottles. Dirty, greasy pizza boxes (and other food containers). Then again, why should I care? It's not like I'm being paid to be the trash police.

While I agree. We are supposed to put glass in one box and cardboard, plastic, tin in another.

When they collect it they put it all in the same, have seen them tip the glass into the bigger combined box and then put it all in the lorry.

I still separate though.

That said, it would seem many people in the UK think the appropriate place for bottles, mcdonalds wrappers etc is at the side of the road.

I'm sick and suddenly four people want to do things with me, a friend and a acquaintance want go to our school for the open house/day whatever term you use and unfortunately they can't go together because one can't stand the other.

My mom and dad want to see me because I turn 32 on Sunday, mom I see next weekend, I don't know when I'll see dad (they divorced when I went to high school). Speaking about my dad, he started pestering me about if I'd met someone.

My love life for the past 1,5 years is the equivalent of a desert road with a tumbleweed, people love to say there is plenty of fish in the sea. My response to that is either: "do you know what else is in the sea? TRASH!!!" When I'm annoyed or: "either I have the wrong lure or the sea is empty" when I'm joking about my love life.

I loved that nobody I know pestered me about my love life, but I guess things change when you're in your 30's. I guess should be grateful no one is pestering me about having children (yet)

Hell, I didn't date much at ALL--hardly ever. I didn't get married until I was 34, after dating and then living together for about a year. There's always someone pestering you about it. First it's, "Who are you dating? Why aren't you dating?" Then it's "When are you getting married? Why aren't you married?" Then it's kids, buying a home, starting college funds, blah blah blah. People mean well but it's a pain in the ass. Just ignore them and live your own life.

I think I already said this before but it happened again.

When one of the drivers ahead of you at a red light isn't paying attention so they're just sitting there after it's turned green. But they're going to speed up when yellow turns to red and make it, leaving you behind for the next red.

I'm officially 32 as of today, I hate it. I hate aging, I hate the grey hairs, the starting backpain, the neverending chores and bills. And the worst thing is that it's going downhill from now on. The only things I like about aging is having a birthday party, the presents, the attention, and the money from family

Happy Birthday, have a great day. You have lots of youth left in you yet at 32.

Happy Birthday!

You still have a lot of good years ahead of you.

The 30s are the best years. You're out of your 20s, so you're making more money. And your health is near its max. The 30s are great.

Have a good b day.

Happy b-day.

I've always hated birthday parties as they were always overstimulating. Finally told my parents when I was nine or ten years old that I didn't want any more birthday parties.
