Price gouging??
Shocking!

People here aren’t saying it openly but it seems that petrol rationing is only a matter of weeks away.

The headline on the local conservative radio station website screams "35k people moved out of Washington State last year due to unfair Democratic taxes."
What a quick search can quickly reveal is that 215,000 people moved to Washington state last year; a net gain of 180,000 people.
It's all clickbait bullshit.

A casual google search will turn up example after example of conservatives who leave blue states and then move back. They like the blue state stuff like a good education for their children, they're just too cheap to pay their share, so they piss and whine like toddlers.

Also, 35 thousand people displeased enough to move out of 8 million is barely a blip on the census meter.

Reading all those those prizes makes me grateful that I have excellent public transport in my city

In theory, I have excellent transport links where I am too. - It's just unfortunate that, at least for work, they are the very opposite of direct. Even on a bad traffic day, odds are public transport will take at least three to five times longer :(

Wish that were the same everywhere. Public transit in the St. Louis area for the most part is restricted to the city of St. Louis. Taxi's/ridesharing here has same restrictions. This is sad b/c I live in the city of St. Louis, I cannot drive, and I have to have my uncle drive me if I need or want to go into St. Louis County for anything.

When Theo was announced minister of defence I was like: "This is not going to end well" and I was right. He send a letter to every 17 year old in Belgium, asking them if they would like to volunteer in the military. 500 17 year olds are going to be selected, barely adults.

Too young to vote, smoke, or drink but apparently old enough to be join the army. For some misguided sense of patriotism that fighting and dying for your country is somehow noble, to become pawns in this geopolitical crisis and be reduced to canon fodder. I just hope nothing happens to them
