Things that frustrate us all

Lower back pain. Having a job where I stand for 4 hours straight has done my back in. I've even had two days off and my back is still killing me. Getting old sucks.
I sympathise, my wife has horrible back pain at times following being rear ended in a car accident, 3 years on.

So I know how miserable she can be with it so you have my sympathies.

Word police NAZI's shoving, poking you in the chest and telling you to like it because they got in charge. Two encounters in one month with fucking word police NAZIs.

I would fire the ass of a word police NAZI in two seconds.

I understand that you don't like it, but... it's part of my job here, so...

I don't know what the second incident is you're referring to, but this thread isn't supposed to be used to complain about things that happen on the board. Not to mention that generally speaking, we're not really supposed to argue mod actions/requests in-thread. So let's just move on, please.

God, I'm so done with my upstairs neighbour who sings tone deaf at random times of the day and it's never too late or to long to call the cops for noise complaint.

And the person who's responsible for the people in this apartment is taking it's sweet time to talk to him and him to stop it.

I wish I could ask him myself, bus he sings in Arabic do I don't know if he speaks Dutch or English, and if he speaks French I can't ask him because my French is lousy. Maybe I should try using Google translate

I won't get my new ipad charger till tomorrow. I was supposed to get it Thursday but they're taking their time and...ugh.

Someone's bright idea was to reduce the speed limit in the neighborhood from 35 to 25. We're talking multi-lane busy streets with double yellow lines. And when I'm going 35 in this new 25, cars still tailgate and pass me.
Better that than people going over the speed limit so much that bumps are needed.

Update: contacted the owner of this building, fingers crossed it'll yield results

Went to my local Schnucks grocery store yesterday to buy bus passes but they were sold out. Then this morning I went to another nearby Schnucks store to buy bus passes, but customer service was closed until 11 am. At least someone at the check lanes was able to get them for me.

Getting old definitely sucks. I tell my younger clients to try and avoid it's pitfalls

People don't respect the speed limits regardless. One road I use is 50.amd people do 70, riding my bumper until they can pass on the single lane road.

Highway is no better; 55 at a certain point then moves to 70 but people do 70.

Got this important email from Social Security at 0745 PDT on October 1:

Social Security Transition to Electronic Payments—Deadline Approaching: What You Need to Do Before September 30.

I'm glad to see that US Government Bureaucratic "efficiency" remains a constant from one administration to another.
