Things that frustrate us all

Someone above pointed out that the three iPhone Pro colors are the Auburn University colors, where Tim Cook attended.
I like the orange because if I were to drop it on a hike, I could easily find it. But because I have to put a case on these devices, color really doesn't matter. It's more about what color cases are available.

my case is transparent

Why's that if I can ask?

She's a narcissist. My parents thought they couldn't have kids, so they adopted. She was spoiled rotten and the center of my Dad's world. Then 2 years later, middle sister was born, and two years after that, I was born. I don't think she ever recovered from the shock of no longer being the star.

She was always beautiful and rail- thin, and was always the center of attention. She was Dad's favorite, even though she grew up to be a drug addict and alcoholic. She went through two husbands and her son (that I babysat for years) died from drug use just before his 19th birthday. Since then, she's lived with or been engaged to a few guys but it never lasts

Years later, every time I see her, she comments on my appearance ("they hired you? I thought they'd want someone with Front Office Appearance?"), that my husband of 21 years is not good enough somehow, that her salary in commercial real estate isn't enough for her to get the Mercedes she really wants ("why do drive that beat up old Prius? Aren't you embarrassed?") and just generally puts me down. "You work in a store? Couldn't you find anything better?". Add on to that her "woe-is-me, everyone is so unfair" speeches, and long diatribes
about how tragic it is that she is single at 60.

So... yeah.

I've known people like that. They are thoroughly unpleasant, tedious people. Sorry you have to endure that.

God, I hate our prime minister of health. He's abliest, discrimatory, and of touch with the real world. And what isn't helping is that a friend reminded me that I should have a back up plan in case my studies fail or something. Thanks for the stress, loser

I'll do you a deal. You take our so-called "Secretary of Health" and we'll take yours.

I grow tired of seeing people sharing their political opinions on Social Media thinking they are somehow important for doing so. What's really become of politics is a disgusting gross plague that infects everything everywhere. Nothing can be enjoyed without political agendas being forced into anything. I'm done arguing and debating with people over Political stuff - just utterly pointless, and a complete waste of time. I wasted so much time in the past with that, and I am done. I feel free, ever since I let it go.

I heard the doorbell, went to answer the front door and no one was there..... because the doorbell was in a radio commercial. I suppose it could be worse -- the radio commercials that use sirens and horn honking are always fun to hear when you're driving.

Memory loss. Just turned 56 and I'm finding it harder and harder to remember passwords, code numbers and the names of new co-workers.
You can save passwords fyi.

I can't find my supply of AA batteries, I know I have them, I just don't remember where I put them because they're not at the spot I always put them.

Also, I hate that in my school I learn things about chapter 1 and 4. Why can't be in chronological order? And WHY does my test have questions about those chapters? Why can't it be questions ONLY about chapter 1? I don't have OCD but I'm starting to think I have

Not exactly a major issue, but I've had no luck trying to locate a particular music recording. The music in question is an instrumental arrangement of the 1966 classic "No Milk Today" by Herman's Hermits, performed by a string ensemble. In the mid-1960s, channel 9 here in Los Angeles (then KHJ-TV, now KCAL) used it as the theme for their foreign movies on "Cinema 9 Showcase." I can't even find it anywhere on YouTube -- and YouTube has everything!

The power went out for about 5 seconds on Tuesday. When it returned, my microwave oven stopped working. I tried unplugging and plugging it back in to see if it would reset. It comes on but doesn't heat. Time to get a new one.

Not from KHJ or KCAL, but is one of these what you are looking for?
