This doesn't apply to me since I'm not getting it, but apparently a lot of Apple consumers are upset the new iPhone Pro only comes in three colors, that one of the colors isn't black, but one color is Cheetos/Doritos/Velveeta orange.
That is the only part I use is the reader, but I get the constant crap updates and additions I never asked for. The only reason I still use it is it was on the HP desktop when I bought it.Eek Adobe... The only thing I use of theirs is the .pdf reader and even that is full of bloat and advertising.
I am back from the doctors. They couldn't see anything wrong internally with my legs structurally nor any abnormalities. To quote my doctor "I am a puzzle" is my symptoms unusual and don't line up with anything expected. He suggested taking some anti-inflammatories and having some light physio.
Trust me, I know. The same goes for my bout of depression, I can't say it or I won't get hired.Good luck.
But I warn you though: Be careful about revealing your autism if you're employed. Despite what the laws in most countries say in that people with disabilities like autism have to be accommodated, some employers can be total jackasses and find ways around the laws.
Probably they have the merchandise, but tariffs kicked in for imports (de minimis exemption) to the United States, that used to be exempt. The tariff is paid by the purchaser in the United States starting August 29.
That's actually one of the reasons I still use the term Asperger's (I am well aware of the history).Trust me, I know. The same goes for my bout of depression, I can't say it or I won't get hired.
Yes, the import tax is ultimately passed on to the consumer. I think the magic number for Australian imports to the US is 25%.Oh, OK, so the $200 is the additional tariffs/import taxes, above the cost of the discs? I guess that makes sense. I guess I misread it, and thought the $200 was the cost of the discs themselves, and the concern was that, because of the shipping issues, they would just never arrive.
Sadly, if I’m understanding the current tariff situation, those costs will have to be paid regardless, whether one uses a U.S.-based importer, or buys directly from Via Vision.
Yup, there’s also the likelihood a flat fee may be applied, and that’s $100 across the board, based on what I saw when I last looked at USPS’ website.Yes, the import tax is ultimately passed on to the consumer. I think the magic number for Australian imports to the US is 25%.
