My car has factory HID projector Bi-xenon headlamps. They are brighter than LED headlights. I try to keep them on low beam, and they are aimed correctly. They use less current than, and are twice as bright as Halogen headlamps. At night, someone coming the other way with the same type of headlights just as bright will flash me with their high beams. Then the oncoming driver will turn their high beams on and keep them on as they approach, then I will have to flash them, and blind all the other drivers behind them. This causes a daisy chain of cars coming toward me to start flashing their lights at me.On that note, I have a huge problem with those new LED headlights that are becoming more and more common on the road these days. I have a light sensitivity, and those headlights are blindingly bright. I keep worrying that someday they're going to cause me to have an accident or something.
