Irony. Gotta love it.

How certain are you that a woman in the most superficial profession in the world isn’t feeling a bit sore about losing her hair?
How do you think people would react to a woman acting offended by a joke? Jada Pinkett Smith knows this, that Hollywood sexist culture is such that acting like a fuddy duddy on National TV will blow back on her career. Just because she kept her cool doesn’t mean she hasn’t privately communicated to Will how sore a spot it is. Will Smith is what, in his 40s? And this is his first offense. You really think it was only male pride that made him that irrational, and not private knowledge of her emotional state?
Chris Rock has already declined to press charges. I hope whatever consequences Will Smith faces are proportional to his actions, which were inappropriate, but human.
When Ukrainians are being murdered, and republicans are trying to take away basic freedoms of anyone who doesn’t agree with them, I think we can go easy on the guy who disturbed a comedian’s cheek.
If it's set up to be a road legal moped, albeit electric, it probably can't turn off without adding a switch and altering the wiring. Bikes with headlights haven't had off switches in decadesAh, I remembered what I thought of this morning, the damn lights on my bike won't turn off.
It's a pedal assist bike with a front and a rear light that according to the instruction book are supposed to turn off, but the command in the book won't work.
I'm trying to them turn it off because I've had two different horseback riders tell me that their horses didn't like the front light, and I don't need them on since I ride during the day.
I can just turn the whole bike off when they go by, and then back on after they're past, but that can be a pain since I tend to forget to turn it back on before I take off.
Word. My mom was in a similar situation. People are just impatient and in too much of a hurry. It's better to be safe than sorry.People who honk their horn the moment the light turns green, especially when I'm in the left turn lane. I can see the oncoming traffic, you can't. I'm going to wait until I'm absolutely sure that the oncoming car is going to come to a complete stop and not try and blow through the light before proceeding through the left turn.

People are impatient, Thursday i had a situation, there was some temporary traffic lights for roadworks and as i approached them they changed to amber then red, i was the third car in the queue and still slowly coming to a stop when the car in front of me decided to jump the first and try and clear the roadworks before the cars in the opposite direction started coming. So as i hadn't stopped fully i continued to slowly pull up behind the first car, starting to fill the gap by mr impatient.
Well we know what happened, they had misjudged how long it would take for traffic to start coming from the opposite direction and had to put it in reverse and suddenly trying to get back in the space that i have now taken. Obviously my fault as getting hand gestures and beeping of the horn from Mr Impatient. Fortunately i was able to reverse enough myself so he could get in at an angle and let the oncoming traffic come past.
We've got some temporary traffic lights set up on my route home. I was probably about the same distance from the lights as you, but a van and car from way further back in the queue decided to make run for it too. The van in the lead didn't beep at me, but did at the people trying to come through for their temerity to come through on a green light.

And these are probably the same people who get so busy with their phones when they're at the red light that they don't see it change and hold everybody else up.People who honk their horn the moment the light turns green, especially when I'm in the left turn lane. I love those YouTube clips where some jackass uses the oncoming lane to overtake a tailback and then has to try wheedle his way back into the queue.![]()
Amber, yellow, same thing. (Well, technically it's an orangey-yellow.) A lot of Americans call it an amber light also.I've seen a couple of other people refer to an amber traffic light, is that the same as a yellow light in the US?
