Things that frustrate us all

Dunkin Donuts finally realized that styrofoam cups are bad, but they still haven't realized if you serve hot coffee in paper cups you need to also offer cardboard sleeves.

Hubby doesn't like that I only work part-time, and don't earn "enough" money. I work from home and my schedule changes every week---sometimes three or four days a week, others only one or two days a week. It's never the same. And he gets furious if I have to cancel work for doctor's appointments or something. But now we're trying to do some home renovations so we can sell it and move into our new house, which should be finished by December. I've been able to use my time off to find a plumber to fix up our bathrooms, and I've finished a lot of our loan paperwork. Now hubby is mad at me because I have to work Monday, when he wanted to have the carpet guy over. We haven't even picked out new carpet yet. I don't see how a few days delay will be such a big deal, when we aren't even close to putting the house on the market yet.

Also, what's the point of all these complicated passwords if the only one they need to get to reset them all is my email password?

I guess the really, really important ones like the ones with access to all the money would still need to answer security questions.

Driving cross country and there was a detour in Indianapolis. The signage was poor and the stupid voice of GPS was not helpful either. I ended up driving way too long through downtown Indy before hooking up to the correct interstate. I stopped for the night not long after that. My nerves are so shot.

Wanna here a sick joke? Australia has adopted voiceprint ID for for government services and the voice data is being held by a Telco. Not only that they copied the movie Sneakers

I would hate having to rely on voice recognition during flu season when laryngitis makes it impossible to speak with your normal voice.

So I have a Gmail account that I use very infrequently. I tried to access it recently. I know the password is correct, because if I deliberately enter an incorrect one, I get the "incorrect password" message. However, since I am apparently accessing it on a new device, Google, in its infinite wisdom, is blocking me from accessing it.

They are giving me the option to send a code to my recovery email to unblock it. So I do that, only to discover that the provider for that account, which I only use as a recovery email, has suspended my account due to lack of use. They are, of course, happy to reinstate it, by sending a code to its recovery email... which in my infinite wisdom, I set up as the Gmail account that Google is blocking me from even though I have all the credentials right! :brickwall:
