Things that frustrate us all

When I go to the pool I get a reaction to chlorine that I’m congested the next day.

And it makes people at work terrified of you. Come on guys, that’s not even a symptom!
 
My streak of perfect reviews was broken this year ... I've had five Significantly Exceeds in a row, and this year I only got an Exceeds Expectations. I totally understand they have to spread them out on a curve, but I used to be a unanimous consensus for the top rating.

If you don't mind me asking Marynator, reviews for what ?
 
For some reason, all the buttons on one menu disappeared in a program I use at work. (Under other menu's it's fine) Unfortunately, this menu is pretty critical to what we use it for.

First thing It suggested was rebooting (no effect) then uninstall and reinstall.

Unfortunately, reinstalling it seems to be an issue. When we stuck it in (with a load of compatibility settings) we were on Win10 1803. Now, we're on 1809 and nothing happens:(

(Unfortunately, it's a works program and works machine so I can't currently try other systems:( - I should also note that the program that's broken is last century. - Hopefully, one day we'll get a replacement that's more integrated)

Trying to get treated for an infection in the middle of the corona virus panic. Like I wasn't already feeling bad.....

Couldn't get through to my clinic on the phone for over an hour but managed to get an online appointment. Later, when I went to the pharmacy, I had to wait several minutes because the poor pharmacist kept getting interrupted by people asking stupid questions. "Where's the masks? Where's the toilet paper? "

I feel bad for anyone who has to work with the general public these days . People are stupid.
 
I've been having some computer trouble at work, which finally resolved itself yesterday. Last week I opened a ticket, and I had a discussion with an incredibly frustrating IT guy yesterday.

Some background ... I work from home, and I have two computers. I have my desktop workstation at my desk in my office, and at home I bring my laptop which I connect to my company by VPN. I then have Remote Desktop to work on my office PC that's networked to my company's servers.

My problem was that everything was really slow on both computers when connecting to the network. I often work with large files, and I do this remotely because my desktop computer is more powerful and has a stronger connection. So like a 10 MB file used to open in seconds, and was suddenly taking five minutes or more, for like over a month.

So this guy is saying that all VPN connections have a lag. DUH that's not what I'm complaining about. He keeps going on about how lag is normal, and wouldn't understand what I was talking about. If my computer wasn't already working, I'd have been super frustrated that he couldn't fix it. I was hoping at least to get some sort of record on there.

EVENTUALLY I got through to him, and we think that when they did their full super clean on Sunday (there was a confirmed Covid-19 case) they must've reset the server or something. And he did give me some good advice on what to say in my ticket next time.

But wow so frustrating to get there! I really wish people would actually listen and not think they just automatically know everything. I felt as though he was treating me like I'm stupid.
 
Assholes who piss all over a toilet seat and don't clean it up after themselves, especially when there is toilet paper to do it with!

Asswagons who walk through doors clearly marked "EXIT" and walk in the middle as if YOU are the one who has to get out of the way. Fuck you, illiterate asswagon.

As I work in Food retail I have to deal with the general public daily, at the moment anyone would think the apocalypse has arrived. If people where sensible and limited themselves to a only a few extra instead of dozens there would be plenty to go around. We have had to impose limitations on what people can buy. Most have been ok with it, a few haven't, case today customers are limited to 3 items from this section the customer had 4 (2 of which where the same product). He said he would jus go elsewhere. My immediate thought was "good luck with that", as speaking to other customers availability in some of our competitors is even worse than ours. The last time I saw our shop as empty was when stock was being run down for refit.

or anyone going the wrong way in one-way lanes in parking lots. There isn't room to pass, and it's clearly marked.

You have my sympathy. I can only imagine how busy it is at the moment. (I've passed a few supermarket car parks on the way to work and they've been packed out before 7am:( )

That drives me fucking SPARE.Even at the best of times, my closest HEB is busy as hell.I drive slowly around the parking lot, as there are people everywhere, especially families, and lots of cars coming in and out. I can't count how many times some car has come racing down the wrong way--apparently the numerous, giant white arrows painted on the black asphalt are not enough of a hint for people--and then they just glare at me. DUDE, it's a one-way aisle in a parking lot. There's no room for me to go around you. YOU fucking move.

Most of the time too it's when the parking spaces are diagonal. How is he even expecting to park his car like that??
