Things that frustrate us all

Shingles. And only a month after my primary offered me the vaccine and then pulled back because I wasn't 50 yet. :brickwall:

I had shingles on my chest as a teenager. Painful as hell. Did they at least give you some antivirals to reduce the discomfort and duration?

When you put an offer on a house, and it’s your final offer because of the work necessary, and that offer isn’t declined as such, but they’re holding out for a higher offer from other viewings. WTF.

^that sucks! Being kept in suspense is nerve-wrecking.

My darned dislocating rib jumped out of its socket again today. *ouch!* Thank heavens the physiotherapist next door can set it during lunch break.
Note to self: while it is named torso, it's not necessarily a good idea to go into a torsion with it, too vigorousely. Remember you're not 40 anymore. (Propably a good idea to also quit dancing the twist) And leave picking up things from under the car to younger colleagues in the future.

Good luck getting the house.

That sounds painful. I hope you get fixed up soon.

Sinus headaches that make me feel like there's a knife in my face, and the point of the blade is coming out the back of my skull.

So, yeah, it pretty much ruins my day, since it lasts for hours.

Lawyers doing lots of frivolous tedious busywork so they can charge the client back for more time.

I had those for about a year awhile ago. I don't know why they started or stopped. About the only thing that helped was holding a very warm cloth on my face.

That's terrible. I hope it's a mild case.

Sorry, I forgot to reply to these.

It was either the mildest case of shingles I've ever heard of or it wasn't shingles at all. I still have the bumps (the pics I saw online were blisters and I had no blisters but my doctor insisted this was shingles), but I only had minor itching (which brought me to my doctor) that Lotrimin or whatever took care of instantly. Then it was just spreading, but sparse bumps and now they're beginning to heal. I'd actually had it a while before posting about it.
