Things that frustrate us all

Today, it's scam-bots:(

Also, being tech support for something I know little about and shouldn't really be involved in (Though to be fair, the people asking probably shouldn't be either. It's just that the people who should be involved still need our help)

When you play chess against someone and you think you have all the bases covered and they manage to come up with a move you didn't imagine was possible. I mean you didn't analyze it because of how unlikely it seemed. It's very frustrating because you feel like you don't understand anything about this game whereas a few days ago you felt like a world champion against someone else!!!

I lost whatever since of ego I ever had.

I used to think I was bright.

It is so much easier admitting that I'm dense. Liberating in fact.

At least 7 or 8 inches of rain today and more on the way for the rest of the week. The city sent out a "shelter in place" message through the phone. I had a bunch of things I planned to do the next few days-- plus, I'm not terribly keen on my neighborhood flooding. Damn rain can fuck right off.

^ could you send some in my direction, please? We've already had 2 drought years and this year we've had only 8 days with rain so far, so it looks like this'll be #3 in a row.

I really hate having arthrosis in my fingers. I can hardly type today :(

When a friend keeps getting dealt a crappy hand by life and there's nothing I can do to help. It's very frustrating.

I have several friends and family members that were there to support me. Now that they all need support they won't accept anything from me and it almost feels like they're pushing me away. I feel helpless.

We could use some rain too.

Sorry about the fingers.

I will send some to you FedEx. I passed two flooded out cars while doing errands today, and our creek is about over-top the levee.

Very minor (and first world problem), but I've just grabbed my headphones as I'll need them tomorrow and the sound has decided to die on one side:(

Waking in the night with a strong feeling of indigestion and the rapid salivation flooding your mouth and throat that warns of impending chunder. Making it to the bathroom door but no further, and being powerless to prevent the torrent of fluid being launched upon the door, the floor, and the dirty clothes that gather by the hamper but never quite make it inside where they belong. That’s annoying.

Knock knock knock knock knock knock knock. Are they playing out? No they’re still at school.

That gets old very quickly, especially when you’re ill.
