Things that frustrate us all

You're probably right.

Portion Sizes. One of life’s great mysteries. So often, less is more, but I struggle to master it. The raw inputs to a meal never seen adequate when I cook, but then so much goes to waste.

I make my own potato chips to control the amount, but I can’t seem to stop slicing. The fear of not enough hangs heavy on my head. Potato chips don’t go to waste though.

Screw the water department. They've been trying to get in to the house to install a new meter... and every time we're either busy or my mom and I haven't been feeling well. And they've COMPLAINED (insert another choice word here) every time about it, even THREATENED us. This time they're saying that our water bill will be raised to a higher flat rate. We already pay too damn much and we hardly use it! :censored: :scream:

There's a neighbor of mine who's a real pain in the ass. Each time he goes away for a few days, I realize how much I don't miss him, the problem is when he comes back.:(

Here's one that frustrates me. Less in NOT more, less is less. If less were more then it would be called more, but it's not, it's called less, and the reason for that is because it's less!!

I REALLY hate that saying!!

(deep breath) Okay..okay...I'm gonna calm down now.......

Maybe...

Going to a 50th Wedding Anniversary, extended family, extended friends-of-friends and all that. "You've gotten so much taller since the last time I saw you." I'm almost 40. I've been the same size since I was 14. And I think the last time we saw each other was maybe five years ago?

Yeah. I just keep quiet. :p

There are actually family members, on my mother's side, that I haven't seen since Reagan was President.
I have the same thing with relatives on my dad's side. Of course, most of them were in their 60s then and have since died. Is it similar with you?

Nope. They never stayed in contact with my parents. Thus, the last time I saw them was when I was a little kid.

Some of them have died, but not all of them. It would be strange to contact them after all these decades.

If I felt like being snarky, I'd say, "Actually I'm still the same size. You've shrunk!"

It's not half as bad as when people say "I could care less" when they mean "I couldn't care less"

Buts a great saying. Less quantity, more use, more pleasant, more enjoyable, more fun, more everything.

When someone you meet on the street insists that they know you, while you assure them that you've never met them before in your life. That person kept talking to me about complete strangers that we were supposed to both know for like felt an eternity, while I was politely telling them that I wasn't the person they thought I was... Really annoying, after a while I kept looking for a hidden camera or someone watching us from a distance... But as hard it is to believe, it seemed completely legit.

I can never be sure if I know someone or not. Even my sister had to explain who she was once, but we’re not really close

I hear some people can't recognize faces. They lack the part of the brain that's specialized in face identification or that part is damaged. However, that wasn't the case here.

It's probably someone that looks very much like me.

It's also frustrating when you're that person on the street. Once I was at the mall, and saw an old co-worker from a previous company eating at the Cinnebon when I walked by. So I wave and say, "Hi, xxxx!". No response. Everyone tells me they can never hear me speak, so I waved again and called her name again. She didn't even look up. So I moved to stand right in front of where she was sitting, and said loudly, "Hi, xxxx! How are you! It's been ages!"

Then she finally looks at me. And yeah, it wasn't xxxx. OMG so embarassing! :alienblush:

That's what I get for trying to actually be outgoing for once.

Possibly?

Found this online and bought it for the little one, who loves it. :bolian:

Remember when posting, less is more.

That's a paradox since Reagan said: "Tear down that wall."

(j/k)

And make them pay for it!
