Things that frustrate us all

Frustration is picking up an "empty" grocery bag in the kitchen this morning and discovering that it wasn't empty after all. I had forgotten to put away the frozen food last night. So the bag was full of unfrozen food. And water. Yuck.

Frustration is having my car refuse to start this evening (seems to be a problem with the starter). Of course this didn't happen at home; that would've been too easy. It was in a dark parking lot 20 minutes from home. This being Saturday night, I can't get it repaired until Monday.

It's been a great day. ;)

Oh, man, you hit the "Triple Bummer!" Hope it is working itself out. Sorry to hear. Maybe you can borrow Ron's car! :)

Basically, let's just say that the most frustrating thing is when you have no control over the bad or uncertain things in life.

:(

I get frustrated not being able to see my friends as often as I want. I have some truly awesome people in my life, but the older I get, the less time we seem to have to spend together. Hell, I live with my best friend, and I only get to hang out with him maybe once every two months because we're both so damn busy.

Yeah, I did that once. It was annoying, but I simply put the food in the freezer and then nuked it later. Can't you do the same, whatever your food is?

I'm currently frustrated that my weekend is nearly done.

All is not lost, however.

I will be absent this Wednesday to take an examination for another 'day job' and I may be asking out a lovely girl....(crossing fingers we make a 'love connection')...

^Good luck!

I am frustrated by drivers who pass on the shoulder doing 75 or 80 in a 60 zone. Holy crap, dude. If you are in THAT big a hurry, something is horribly wrong in your life. Please don't risk mine in the process.

Also, people who TALK, not even whisper, at the theater. Seriously? What the hell is wrong with you, you knuckle-dragging moron!? It's a play, with real human beings, and an audience trying to watch them. Shut the fuck up.

Can relate with that one. Had one car pass me on the shoulder once and it scared the crap out of me. Was going :wtf: the whole time too.

Thanks....;)

And, I do agree with you about talking in the theater.

Off the top of my head, I remember having to move seats for: *"Deep Blue Sea" (because there were some kids constantly talking behind me; one talking about how hot or fine LL Cool J was everytime he was onscreen).

*"Tron: Legacy," due to two guys - behind me, of course - wanting to give commentary on what Sam Flynn was doing at the start of the film. Even though it took away from me watching what was going on, I moved to the opposite side of the theater. (Note: I would see the movie again, so it wasn't a huge loss).

I didn't have to move for "Kick Ass." Mainly because the guy giving his own commentary - when the character, Kick-Ass, and his love interest were making out - was told to 'shut up' by another patron. (lol)

I didn't mean to scare you

It's frustrating in more ways than one, when you realize all those advertisements and commercials you saw in your youth, saying you need more bran in your diet as you get older, were right.

what frustrates me most is uncertainty. Not knowing what's brewing.
Atm that's my uncle: he suffered a cardiac arrest last week, was resuscitated but was not responsive and has then been put into an artificial coma. Until the docs let him wake up we have no idea if there was any brain damage and what extent it has.
So for the moment we play it safe: hope for the best and expect the worst.

 You didn't. Someone in RL did.

Unfortunately I think it's running wild somewhere in the Forbidden Forest. ;) At least I had good news today -- it was just the battery, not the starter.

Well, I wasn't sure about re-freezing it, so I just put it in the fridge until I nuked it. Texture wasn't great, but it was edible.
