Things that frustrate us all

My local Fred Meyer just went through a remodeling and I think about 1/4 of the products are locked behind glass now and you have to call an attendant to open up the cases.
Who steals liquid dish soap and laundry detergent?

It's something that can be easily sold because everyone uses it. Something like socks, on the other hand, get stolen a lot by the homeless.

So I'm helping a customer to her car, and 1) she doesn't remember where she's parked, so I ended up getting led around the parking lot like a :censored:ing puppy for 10 minutes; 2) she kept saying "It's an Oldsmobile" and glaring at me, like I'm gonna know what the damn thing looks like; and 3) when we REACHED her car, it was actually a Buick! :brickwall:

If it's a car made in the 21st century, it should have a key fob with a panic alarm. Then you can activate it, and find the honking car with the flashing lights in the parking lot.

Four homeless people in my store today.

Fortunately, not all at the same time...

And the last one tried to throw down with our security guard (who CLEARLY could have kicked his ass).

I've had customers come into the store and they don't know the year, make and model of their vehicle, even though they just drove up.

They're surprised when I enter in a license plate/Vin number and it comes up different than what they thought.

Been stuck living in a hotel for a few months. There's one washer and one dryer for the guests. A month ago, someone broke the lint screen for the dryer so I had to start going to a laundromat a few miles down the road.
I overheard the desk clerk talking to another guest this morning. They finally got the lint screen replaced on Monday and now it's already broken again. SO frustrating.

I've heard of people "topping off" the bottle of liquid detergent that they plan to buy so that they "get their money's worth," leaving a partial bottle on the shelf. Stealing, plain and simple.

Anyway....

The neighbor dog is tearing boards out of the fence between my yard and their yard. And the neighbors aren't doing a thing about his destruction. He's not able to get into my yard yet.

I hate people who constantly talk about themselves and their lives but don't think about how the other is feeling, for example my mom and a friend of mine. My mom always talks about herself, her job, her frustrations and so on. When she does ask something, she interrupts me and talks about herself again. I once got mad at her because of it and she called me a liar, because I didn’t seize the opportunity to talk about myself. Which I couldn't because I couldn't get a word in edgeways so I got mad again and blocked her

In my friend's case, when I was in the psychiatry ward of a hospital. She didn't ask how I was nor what I did during my stay there. The next time I was back home (after my stay in the hospital I stayed at my grandparents because I didn’t want to alone again) she again didn't ask how I was nor how my stay was at my grandparents so I got mad and blocked her as well

How long are you going to be living there? Maybe you can buy a lint screen just for you to use and take it with you when you're done.

As I discovered when I put on (more accurately, failed to put on) the heating* this morning, the thermostat needs a new battery+ and I can't get off the battery compartment cover.

*A rare event in this household but it's very cold today and I was having a bath.
+Yes. My heating is THAT old.

One of our worst recurring library pigs who never understood the concept of thought balloons instead of sharing his dumbass redundancies at full volume actually told a librarian ''Don't talk, just listen'' with zero sense of irony or any sense period. It's got to be something in the water. It's not just the library, either.
You can't go anywhere in public without people exercising their right to be stupid.

That was my minced version.

Not a frustration but when you have a decision to make that feels somewhat like agony.

I'm at a bit of a quandary. I have a very capable laptop which I got earlier this year for my late birthday present to myself and it is more than capable of replacing my desktop machine, and the original plan was to do at and the end of this year and use the laptop as my main machine. It does all that I could possibly want and gaming is becoming less of a thing as I get older and I find other things to occupy my time.

But I feel like I am losing a friend to say by to my desktop machine. I mean it's an inanimate object how the heck can I feel this way?

To this day I regret selling my red game boy colour, but I learned from that mistake and when I had the opportunity to sell my pokemon games I didn't. I payed for them so they're mine, plus I like my pokemon game collection
