So why are you sorry to have asked?
Why do you ask?
So why are you sorry to have asked?
Why do you ask?
You asked a perfectly reasonable question, I in turn answered it.
....
And yet now you're being evasive as to why you were sorry to have asked.
Are you a cop?
No, but you are really rather ...................
Rather what?
There is an interesting and rather fun answer to that question.
Eat first, then dress. Why do slices of bread always fall on the side that's been smeared with butter and jam? Did you notice when you eat your breakfast and are wearing your best tie for an important meeting then the only particle of food that will ever be projected from your plate will go right on the tie.
Eat first, then dress.
Problem solved.
Reason at TrekBBS is something of a contradiction. Like honest politicianYou asked a perfectly reasonable question

My argh-moment today: the moths ate my warm woolen slippers. And there I kept wondering where the damned insects kept coming from all the summer. First thing I'll do on Monday is go to the market and buy a wheelbarrow-load of lavender! Moths can't stand the scent. Fortunately, I like it a lot.
Moths are not Butterflies. Butterflies suck liquid food through a tube, they are no threats to garments.No--they are what's left over after you geld butterflies
Neither are adult moths. It's the larvae that eat clothing fibers.Moths are not Butterflies. Butterflies suck liquid food through a tube, they are no threats to garments.
Finding an interesting looking thread on the TrekBBS forum and then realising there's 40+ pages of history to read through...
A gas pipeline burst that feeds a lot of the southeastern US, leading some states (AL and GA at least) to declare a state of emergency. It's apparently a huge piece of infrastructure that I was completely unaware of. But yes, there have been shortages reported all over as a result, but thankfully prices haven't spiked much if at all. That's weird, AP. What triggered the gas panic? To my knowledge there's no shortage and no war in a oil-producing country. No holiday/travelling season either.
There's a whole thread about it right in this forum. That's weird, AP. What triggered the gas panic? To my knowledge there's no shortage and no war in a oil-producing country. No holiday/travelling season either.
