Things that frustrate us all

Coworkers obsessed with detox diets. Please stop telling me about how you're killing your body by "cleansing" it of toxins with the latest fad juicing diet.

Casual swearing on the internet, including mainstream celebrity interviews (plenty of examples from nu-Trek, but they're hardly unique).

It may not frustrate us all, but people walking three abreast on the sidewalk who don't want to make room for someone with an obvious disability comiing from the other direction.

People who use the excuse of "religious freedom" to be generally horrible human beings and skirt all of our basic civil rights laws.

...
^ Don't you sea? I would never sandbar you like that.

The Sandbar is current ly run by a couple named Gale and Eddy.

Quiz: what do you call a really small jet
((((((eeeiiinnntt))))))), sorry, times up! a jetty :guffaw:

:bolian: Props to you!

And young and fit people who occupy all of the (few) seats in a public place where most people have to stand, when a person with an obvious disability is standing right in front of them, looking for a seat.

You don't need a disability to be frustrated by that, sure I can understand parents holding their childrens hand not making as much room but others seem so ignorant of their surroundings about wwho is approaching them or faster people behind them. Half the time they seem to have their eyes clued to their phones rather than their surroundings.

Agreed. I'm able-bodied, and I get annoyed when I'm in the grocery store, and a group of people are walking side by side, taking up the entire aisle and not letting anyone pass.

I know, and the problem with some of them is that they're starting to favour 64-bit, or certain browsers, over one another. So anyone running even the same year/power of computer with the same RAM are having issues with the program prioritising things not the right way.

Or for some reason, the firewalls now being very lazily put together and stopping individual programs and processes indescriminately, needing manual declogging.

Very annoying. My AVG/Avast both seem to hate Facebook and if I try to run it any length of time, try to crash my entire laptop to stop it running.

I mean jeeze, certain...sites, nothing, Facebook? loses it's mind.
Dang that isn't good. I'm on 32 bit right now. It was originally on 64 when I first got my laptop. *shrug*

Weird.

Avast hasn't caused that problem on Facebook with me yet. But I did see the code recently O_o, after I clicked on a friend's tab to go their page. It was really strange. Thought something was wrong with my computer.

I think I have strep or staph in my throat!

The staff is in your throat? Is it spring cleaning?;)

Truly stupid people...who cut you off in an intersection by going straight from a turn only lane...then when you honk, they wave like they are saying "Thank you for letting me show you how stupid I really am."

The blonde in the Lexus last night who parked in Flaming Wok's 15 min to go space and wasn't even in Flaming Wok. I stood there with my hands on my hips looking at her and the sign. Like a true blonde, she never got it.

CCC.

Re: aaargh!!

Where offices have umpteen variations of ''Warning: Door Swings Out?'' It's getting worse exponentially.
The company I work for is getting really bad with that, spending a lot of money on stuff like that basically so they can avoid health insurance payments. I'd understand for truly hazardous things, but they've put caution stencils all over the sidewalks and at every single little step up or down, as well as signs on doors, stairwells, radar enforced speed limit signs, dozens of new speedbumps, etc. They've also mandated software on all computers that tell you to get up or stretch every so often, and it can potentially lock you out until "break time" is up. It's really gotten ridiculous.

Double doors in businesses where only one door is released to open.

Strollers.

Governors who sign shitty legislation, excluding entire groups of the population.

Governors.

People who treat people with disabilities and challenges like second class citizens.

Rude, Big Fat Meannies!

Would those be the recent RFRA laws that were enacted in some of the states of the USA recently. That have caused an not unexpected amount of controversy.

Those would be the ones.

The only time a politician learns is when something they do causes enough of an electoral backlash do possibly hinder their re-election chances.

*ugh* I have to take my mom's/my Windows 8 laptop in AGAIN! Turns out WildTangent games re installed itself after they reset our laptop. So now onto taking it in to have the crap removed. The stuff is a trojan horse.

I find it frustrating that people take political positions as a knee-jerk reaction based on an emotional response, without ever looking into the reasoning or history behind it.

So much so that I have shunned political parties, as George Washington urged the framers of the Constitution to do.
