@Nakita Akita Man, I'm sorry this is happening to you. But catching it early is a good thing. Sclerotic lesions are usually benign, but either way, getting it treated fast is important. In a way, breaking your ankle may have actually been beneficial; it helped you detect the problem early and get treatment. But I know right now it's all kinds of suck. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
This Dr. Yesterday said it may not have been fully healed in2017, the last time I fractured it. He didn't write 'Lesion' he said 'margin' I hope there is a difference. And he is not a radiologist or an orthopedist so hopefully he is wrong. Maybe I have osteoporosis, all of my aunts had it. I'm pretty freaked out. (Totally freaked out) Kidney cancer is just in your kidney, bones are all over your body. Shit.
Pretty understandable--anyone would be freaked the fuck out. I hope you can get to a specialist and get a straight answer soon.
And the irony is the whole point of paying bills online is to make things "easier". I've had similar trouble with bills that went paperless. Took forever to straigthen out. And their phone operators set up to "help" you usually have the IQ of a house plant. Their conversation is typically peppered with "Oh, uh, um, I don't know sir...." Fucking idiots. I hate the 21st century.
Turns out there was a separate "Make a one time payment" in a tab on the login window marked 'Other'.
When your bosses are pleased with your performance on a type of project that you absolutely wanted nothing to do with in the first place, so they decide that you will be handling all of those from now on. Kor
Things that don't frustrate, When you think you're going to die, then the doctor calls back and says that the radiologist says that your fracture is healing okay and you can not wear your plastic boot cast unless you are standing or walking and that you get to wean off of wearing it. Yippee!!!!!
I think I was born under a strange sign. It said "this person will have things randomly fall on or near her just because". This time I was walking by the side of our house and my husband had piled many (many) bags of cement. Well they were under a makes sift kind of wood pile table. And I saw two were leaking all over. So I had to move the top one on this pile and the bag just fell apart and covered me head to toe in cement dust. I was wearing shorts, a short sleeve shirt and garden shoes with holes in them and no socks. (anyone know if it is bad to breathe in a ton of cement and get covered with it?) I would have made a good statue. Well I had to move many more and they got all over the ground, I am so glad it is not going to rain for the next few days. I picked up what I could and I am hoping for the best. I could go on all days with the things that fall on or near me! My life is so odd...
Been there I think they've gotten to the point where they know I detest that project, but am still stuck with it
I am so freakin' tired. Got up at 6:30 am to start work at 7:15am. Then the floor guys showed up at 9:30 am. They were supposed to show at 10am---tomorrow. But, they were here, so we let them get started. Hubby and I worked upstairs in the loft space while the floor guys ripped out all the carpet & vinyl downstairs...and cut the trim, sanded down all the concrete and ripped the carpet off the stairs. Holy CRAP, that was loud. Fucking hell. It was very loud but I managed to get through my shift pretty well. Was done by 3pm. Hubby had to go into the office to get some equipment, but he'll have to work from home again tomorrow. I'll probably just hide in the bedroom with Junior. Poor cat is *really* not happy with us right now. They really demo'ed the place, which is good. But now I have no kitchen to cook in, since they took out the oven to put new floor in underneath it. They are coming back at 8 am tomorrow. With any luck, we can get the downstairs finished tomorrow. Then the stairs and loft space upstairs shouldn't take that long. I am so tired, I don't even know what to do with myself.
Today I learned I can beat this. When you are swiped from a position you know and are performing very well in, placed in a position you do not want and are not trained for, your boss essentially stops communicating with you after a month, despite having an office adjacent, and you’re not assigned any more of the work you were swiped to do, so to any outside observer you appear useless. Months later you finally find out that they swiped you for a skill set they never bothered to ask if you actually HAD (Thanks, HR!) And just when you try to improve that by adding to your skill set, Signing up for classes, the pandemic hits and you can’t. Then you get transferred back. Then your performance review is emailed to you, and they SHIT on you.
Thanks! I sure hope so. I mean, it can't be any worse than stained carpet that was coming up in every room.
The Associated Press has an official YouTube channel. One of their videos is titled: "Mother receives 99 years in prison for gluing child's hands together." The woman nearly beat her two-year-old daughter to death, in addition to gluing her hands to the wall. Are they trying to click bait? That would be like saying, "Ted Bundy sentenced to death for pretending to be a police officer." Whoever came up with that title is horrible.
My failing memory is both frustrating and an irritant. I turned on my laptop with the intention to log onto the internet to look up something specific, but while waiting for the computer to load, whatever it was I wanted to do went right out of my head. I must be getting old.....
People completely ignoring the directional arrows on the floor in a small shop and walking right in front of you while you're in the middle of picking up an order at the counter. Kor
