Today I got a conditional mortgage approval on them receiving the insurance binder.
Now, my insurance was complete nearly two weeks ago. At that point I asked them to send insurance binder to the bank. A week later, I ask them status and they seemed to think because insurance was not escrowed they didn’t need anything. So, I told them why the bank needed it and gave them contact information.
A few more days pass, bank says they still don’t have it. I contact insurance agent. He says the info was wrong, they need corporate address. This Monday, bank says they still don’t have it. Insurance agent gives me the phone number, address and fax they sent it to. Bank tells me those were wrong. So I again contact insurance agent with the fax and email they gave me. I still haven’t gotten response today.
I don’t know what the hell is going on here, why it’s so hard for this guy to just send an insurance binder to contact info I provided. Or why, if he did send it to a different department they can’t walk across the hall and ask if they received it. This should have been resolved a week ago.

* I was in the bathroom, I was unhappy with the remaining soap, so I tried to get another one, unfortunately, it was inside a sealed cellophane envelope. Nothing sharp in the bathroom, so I had to go to the kitchen, half-naked, looking for a knife to pierce that damn seal!!!

And now they got the insurance binder forward from another department. But the insurance rep apparently was NOT LISTENING TO ME the three times I told them a condition of the loan was the first year being fully paid upfront, and still expects the payments will kick in when the policy goes into effect.
I normally would never complain about a person doing their jobs because they made a mistake, but I need to find out if I can file a complaint about this guy somewhere. This is literally the only thing standing between me and mortgage approval with eight days before the commitment deadline.

My cat Sophie, whom I adopted from my cousin a little over a year ago, is sick. She's throwing up several times a day (three times overnight last night) and after she throws up she stumbles and weaves like she's disoriented. I'm hoping it's just that she's light-headed from throwing up, but I'm worried there might be something neurological going on. 
I'm calling my mom's vet as soon as they open this morning to see what time I can get her in. I would call my vet, but they've been less than helpful the last couple of times I've gone to them and they're far more expansive. My parents have always been happy with their vet.

My cats are my children and I treat them as such.
Her vet doesn't seem to think there's anything long-term serious happening and gave her a good prognosis for recovering.
She does have crystals in her urine but she's not backed up (this is the same problem that killed Jim, but it's far worse for male cats than female cats) and this is not her vet's primary concern.
She's backed up with some hard stool but no obvious obstructions like eaten toys or string (my mom's cat Trouble has issues with swallowing string), so she gave me some oral meds in syringes and we'll get the results of her blood tests later today or tomorrow morning.

Two things...
When your vet entered the wrong phone number and left a message with whoever's number that is and is not in today so needs to call you tomorrow and you just want to make your cat better.
When you rearrange your PC hard drives and it takes forever for it to restart because it needs to read all of them. Still waiting.
