Things that frustrate us all

You know how when you want to resize a window on your computer and you need to grab the very edge and it can take a ton of concentration (maybe my mouse is too fast but I have a lot of real estate to cover)?

Well, just about every time I go to use the scrollbar because the page is too damn long and using the mouse wheel is a pain, I accidentally grab the edge of the window and resize it. :censored:

I think you can safely generalize that statement to just “SAP is annoying as hell”! ;)

It has it's moments, but overall, the version I use doesn't seem that bad. (I only have to use it for one job and not everything though. I suspect if I needed it for the other portion of my job, the mixing and matching might be more of a pain).

That said, the version I used about five or six years ago was truly bad:(

A disastrous SAP implementation was cited as a factor (one of *many*, to be fair) in the failure of the Target expansion into Canada.

The general reaction of people familiar with SAP implementations seems to be, "Yeah, makes sense." ;)

A couple quotes from the article, if you don't want to read the whole thing:

"While SAP might be considered best in class, it’s an ornery, unforgiving beast."

"Former employees describe decoding SAP as like peeling an onion—it had multiple layers and made you want to cry."

Found out that some of my older Game Boy/Game Boy Color games are dusty/corroded. :( Bums me out a bit. Thankfully found a way to try to clean them though.

Hoping that this works and then I plan on getting some plastic cases to store them in.

Given that most of our IT people seem to be SAP support of some sort or other, I can well believe it:)

And there's nothing the doctor can do to give you your voice back?
This likely began as a stress reaction, and was compounded by a bacterial infection and a virus hitting my system close together. I dealt with the stress aspect, took antibiotics and have been taking cold meds. Also, I've been using some exercises from a speech therapist, in addition to a massage and other treatments. At this point, all I can do is wait it out.

Doesn't your phone display the incoming call number? If it's a number you don't recognize, don't answer.

Problem solved.

The problem is that some of the people that call me (for a good reason) have phone numbers that are either masked or that I don't know.

The fact that I had to explain to my husband why white people dressing up in blackface is wrong and offensive.
