To be fair, worth as a mass transit system, capable of making or breaking the commerce of whole worlds, vs worth as a temporarily interesting area of scientific research, that may or may not yield anything at all, are vastly different. The Price
They find out that the other end of the Barzan wormhole jumps to places throughout the galaxy and that the Alpha Quadrant side will eventually become unstable as well which would take a while however.
It's obviously not what everyone initially hopes it is, a safe, 100 % stable passage to the GQ, but why is it deemed worthless? The Federation could still do intense research on the wormhole itself in order to find out how to create artificial ones, or send probes to chart remote regions of the Galaxy.
In, "I Borg", ( the episode also known as "Should have Left Beverly on The Planet")
Lame material on the glove cuffs but more so the lame material in Guinan's hair covering while Picard and she are dry fencing.![]()

You can't leave Beverly on a planet she's a redhead. Redheads are awesome.
Suuuuuure, she's a red head.

How come Data never needs to recharge?
Picard, a person who strongly opposes harming and exploitation of sentient clouds, parasites, self-aware tools etc., not only rides horses for fun but also owns a saddle, presumably so he can ride horse analogues on other planets.
This one goes without saying but I'll say it anyway: Data and his inability to form contractions.
Apart from the season one scripts that show him doing so, even several times in the one that has that little rule imposed ("Datalore" (aka "Data's Lore"))
I think that can be explained by Picard simply not wanting others to fall prey to that trap. If the cruiser was still intact, it could have enticed others to go aboard and get stuck like the Enterprise was.

Except there is no such rule, least of all in "Datalore". All we hear is Lore teasing Data about his stilted way of speech, and Data not taking the bait but merely saying that yes, that's what he chooses to be like.
Data is always about "not mastering" this or that. It's just that he sets his standards high. He's an expert actor and liar, capable of any and all patterns of speech in many languages - when he plays pretend. When he doesn't, he speaks formally, meaning there are fairly few contractions.

Is there a scene where data is routinely charging himself back up from the ship's power? What if he is somewhere where he can't charge himself? Would he just run down? Or is there a scene where where Data mentions his batteries? We know he recharges, as he says so. Moreover, he does it all the time. Apparently wirelessly, then (as since when did Star Trek gadgets require electric cables for charging?).

Data should have his own power plant. He cannot be running on batteries.
