Prodigy was enough for me. I mean, if we see Janeway again, fine. But I'm not sure what's left to say about her. Frankly, at this point, she works better as the mentor to The Prodigy kids.
I'd definitely watch, but I'd rather see a show about Captain Seven following "Picard."
Janeway needs to change over the course of the series, and be in a different place from where she was in VOY.
Kirk changed from TOS to the movies. Picard changed between two series and the TNG movies. Sisko changed. Even Archer and Burnham changed in their respective series, despite having less episodes to work with.
They only thing that changed about Janeway in VOY was her hairstyle.
It's nice to suggest that she should lead a fleet into or head up a starbase in the Delta Quadrant. But a series would hinge on showing what's different about Janeway now.
Funny that this thread was bumped. I remember about this same time last year that the rumors about a Janeway show started because of something Mulgrew said on the Star Trek cruise that was misinterpreted. I know, because I was there. And now an entire year has passed with zero mention of this (because it was never a thing to begin with.) I’ll be going on the cruise again next month. I wonder what rumors will be created then?
Do you go annually? It's something I have been pondering for a few years now. Thought it might be fun.
This will be my third ST cruise. I went in 2023, skipped a year, then went in 2025 and now 2026. The first one was just my gf and I, and last year we brought her son. He’s coming this year too, despite the fact that there are very few kids his age that go (he’s 15.) However, this will probably be our last one for awhile as more important family issues have come up. But they are a lot of fun.

Then the rest of the episode is about what is wrong with the Galaxy, and by which specific available method Kathryn is going to go back in time to fix what is wrong with the Galaxy.
