I saw this in the bookshop today, bloody hell it's big. Were the first two Mission Gamma books really that thick? Or did they just have really small type? Mine are boxed up in the garage at the moment...

^ they were really thick and had really small types, 500+ pages at 9pt, I think.

Now, what I would like to see (and let me know if it's already been done) is a TPB of 'Divided We Fall' as I only ever managed to get the first issue and I think that's been mislaid.

"Divided We Fall" came out too late for WildStorm to collect as an omnibus.

However, if you can speak German, there was a tpb called "Symbiose" by Dino Entertainment. I ordered mine from Amazon.de. A Spanish version was called "Divide y vencerás" by Recerca Editorial.

Well after my success at finding Book 4 for just 99p, I just won a bidding war on eBay and picked up Book 3 for £7. Not bad considering some of the prices Amazon and other retailers were charging for them new.

There is always Mile High Comics or some similar site to get the original issues. Also, DWF will be a part of the upcoming release of all of the pre-IDW Trek comics on disk.

I spent a whole night searching for a new, fairly priced copy of either of the last two books in the Mission Gamma series. I was looking at prices of £50 new, and £20 for a tatty ex-libary copy. I eventually gave up. But then yesterday I stopped off in a small town in the Derbyshire area, and popped into a small bookstore. To my amazement, stuffed at the back of the sci-fi books was a BRAND NEW copy of Mission Gamma Book 4, and the price.....
99p!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I just need some luck in finding Book 3.

That's crazy. I just saw on Saturday a local used bookstore having two copies of every book in Mission Gamma for half the cover price.

Maybe I should pick them up and re-sell them...

I know the Forbidden Planet in Manchester (UK) has several copies of some of the Mission Gamma novels.

All I can find are usedcopies going for $7.50 for so-so condition to $56 for like new. This is for Mission Gamma #3. Seems even thought the reprint is out, #3 & #4 are still way overpriced for used. Best to get the eBook for less then $5.

I got into DS9-RL when Avatar was first launched but didn't actually get the books themselves for a while (i went through an ebook phase much to my bookshelves dismay). When my ebook reader broke i couldn't afford a new one so I went to find the four Mission Gamma books. Luckily for me on amazon's new and used the most expensive one (at the time) was Twilight for £13.
I'm partly regretting buying them now these omnibii have come out, but then im not sure my hands could have taken the strain of holding up that huge book (it's bad enough when i try and read the omnibus version of The Captains Table).
