THERE IS NO COMPARISON.

You might want to try connecting to those on another machine of your own... I just tried it on multiple machines at my end and got nothing but "lockups" and "browser has crashed" issues. Not sure why, but since this happened on multiple machines with different hardware and even different OS's, (winXP and Win7) I suspect it's a "source" issue.

Yep, checked it on my two PCs (desktop and laptop), and works no prob. Lags a bit compared to my four Macs, but that's Windows for ya.

Most likely you don't have the QuickTime plugin installed. That's my guess anywho.

And thanks, Shaw. :)

Windows issue, balkin' at QuickTime, no doubt.

Well, I've got Quicktime Pro 7 installed all around... being an "amateur" video guy, when I do animation renders, I usually use Quicktime to composite the frames into animations, and it's a lot cheaper than buying the Adobe compositor package, for instance.

I just tried it on my work machine, and that also has the same problem. In this case, it has "standard" Quicktime 7 installed, not Pro.

I have no problem viewing other Quicktime movie sites, either... movie previews, etc.

Anyway, no desire to ask you to do anything beyond what you've done... but I'd still like to see the video. Can you possibly just provide a "direct link" to the files, not embedded in a web page?

Cary, if you're using Firefox, you can click on "Tools", "Page Info", then click on the media tab in the Page Info window that appears. You'll see a .mov file listed. Click on that, then "save as" and you've got it.

I'm making a local copy for personal enjoyment that way right now.

Hmmmm, very weird, Cary. I just tried it in; Firefox, Chrome, IE, and even Flock and Safari on my PC and they all work fine. Doing my own website I'm a sniggler about making sure my stuff plays across all platforms and browsers (that's even the sole reason I got a PC originally way back), so that's vexing to me.

Anywho, here the direct links to the files for ya, Cary, hope they help. Sorry you are having a row trying to see them. :(

Ahhh... very nice. The nacelle caps are very nice, too... and I'll just keep saying it, that dish is terrific for adding a sense of scale without standing out as saying "I'm different from what you remember." Very nice indeed!

Ah, way-cool, you got t see it finally! And thanks, my friend, on both counts. I really am happy with the way the domes turned out. They look great in stills, but the real magic is in seein' them in action! :)
