Theory: Picard and Seven were or still are in a romantic relationship??

First thing to say after watching the amazing trailer is that i can't wait anymore. I'm absolutely hyped!!!

Based on the way she talks to Jean Luc,
could it be that Seven and Picard have been in a relationship or even been married for a time???

Or perhaps they are still together?

Another possible hint for this is the fact that it seems that the place Seven appears in could be a room in Picard's home...

I don't even think they're close friends. not using the poll. They both can get into a Krige vs Thompson discussion with better authority than most. They know each other. That's about it.

Maybe she likes getting involved in contrived relationships with men as old as her father (Chakotay) or even her grandfather (Picard) even though no romantic feelings whatsoever were present up to that point.

Why would anyone think that they could have been in a relationship? She calls him „Picard“ and basically makes fun of him for beeing old and grumpy. Yes, they used to be in one steamy collective relationship back in the days but that one lasted only six days.

Its much more likely that Seven has become an complete ass after returning to earth. Btw; That is no way to address a retired starfleet admiral, even if he has become a little grumpy

Perhaps they were colleagues who worked on some project together for a while. Apparently she knows him well enough to speak to him in a pretty familiar manner. Or maybe by this time, her Borg social awkwardness has swung in the opposite direction from her former stiff formality, and now she just acts overly familiar with everyone.

While I do think her dialogue in the trailer had an air of familiarity to it (seemed she was busting his balls, tbh) I don’t know if a romantic relationship is what they were implying. I like the theory that she “knows” him (maybe even deeply) from when they were both in the collective! Lots of potential there.
