The Zombie Apocalypse is here: How useful are you?

What's your role in the Zombie Apocalypse?

I'm emotionally disconnected enough that I can do the things others can't. Like shoot the suspected bite victim or leave somebody's loved one behind to die, you know the designated asshole work (as Fancy says, every organisation needs one).

Only problem is I'd probably quickly lose all sense of right and wrong, the group would turn against me and I'd end up killing some. In the end I'd be lured into some sort of trap that has the zombies kill me rather than anyone else having to do the dirty work.

Not that I've thought about it or have a 12 step plan or anything.

Give me some body armor and a few weapons and I'll go on patrol. I'm a one man un-death machine

Tracking ability = check
Outdoors skills = check
Firearms = check
Ammo (quite a bit, actually) = check
Marksman = check
Archery = check

I'd like to think I'd make it into the second season.

Q2

I'm pretty good with guns, decent shot for sure.

I just hope it's the walking kind of zombies and not the running kind. So lazy these days.

I have almost zero martial arts or firearms ability, but I do have a pilot's license... So I feel like I could be pretty vital under pretty specific circumstances.

I have an idea for a story about a gang of disabled and chronically ill people working together to survive the zombie apocalypse fighting for our lives/nearly dying are mundane and routine things for us, .

THE TERMINAL SQUAD

Some shooting skills with a revolver. Clip fed?--forget it. Those things can bite, too.

One of the rare skills I have (for a Brit) is have handled variety of weapons - god bless USA - and trained in CQB. That's not to say when confronted by r/l zombie I wouldn't freeze up. Like an idiot I'd probably follow training and go for body mass, when we all know lore says 'head shot'.

Munitions aside, I could teach. Even without internet, could cobble together a Molotov or pipe bomb. And I can cook and love! That's just as important.

There was a joke circulating around here whenever the threat of a Zombie apocalypse was brought up. Their immediate response was FIND KYLE! Kyle is my youngest son and a wilderness survival expert and teacher. Our oldest son took the advanced survival training when he was in the Air Force. He said it basically sucked but then it was supposed to suck but being in Scouts helped him out a lot. If I am with them I think I have a pretty good chance of staying alive.

As far as I'm concerned, I know things about the area that most don't. Camps and farms (and other undisclosed locations) that can be easily defended, places where munitions are stored and so forth. I have basic outdoor skills and am at home in the woods ( I have no idea if being part Native American has anything to do with that or not) and I can fish and shoot. Husband used to be a NRA instructor.
